I can't take it anymore, I really don't like my job. It's been over a month and I've been in this state of mind since maybe the 2nd or 3rd day on the job. I just don't like sales. I thought I'd stick around to see if it's just the work or me, but now that some time has passed I just don't want to do this anymore. I'm honestly not even sure why these guys hired me, they honestly don't need me for much (small manufacturing biz) I think they just hired me out of pity because they chose someone over me in the position I originally applied for (admin assistant).
Well, how do I go about leaving this job in the least awkward way possible? I can't see myself staying there any later than Friday.
You should apply for other jobs (or gov benefits depending on where you live and your circumstance) before leaving, and then use a letter of resignation, give them a week or two's notice, and go from there.

I have been applying. I actually have an interview next Friday.
And forgot to mention, I have a part-time seasonal job that helps me get by too so income isn't that much of a problem.
