Don't pay attention to AAL's P/E ratio. The airline industry generally has a low P/E. DAL's is 6.69, ALK's is 9.06, AC.TO's is 3.88, UAL's is 2.4.

Also, I just want to point out that American is literally the worst performing of the five major US airlines (Delta, American, United, Alaskan, Southwest). Just look at this shit. Even Allegiant is doing better than them.
