I never once said I wanted to completely avoid child support and be a dead beat dad. I want to pay a FAIR AMOUNT.

I left out an important bit of info: We are not married.

In any case, I hired a lawyer. He said tricks like increasing business expenses or moving my company to the Caymans will not work. The court will see the change and just use my average income from the past 5 years. The only solution is to get her to sign a "Child Support by Agreement" for an amount I feel is fair.

She can sign or I will move to a country with no Federal International Child Support Agreement with the U.S. and pay zero. I would never actually leave though. I'll just suck it up and pay the whatever the court decides if she calls my bluff.
