The GBP is never going back up again, is it?
No. Everything else is going to fall though.
The UK has no interest in a high GBP right now. They want to keep it low so they can be more competitive in international markets so they can boost their economy, which is really needed now.
Maybe after 10 years or so.
Good luck, anon.

Are you serious? I can't wait 10 years, I have money I need to get out of the UK and I don't know what to do
It's possible fall to 1.0 USD before 2018, where there will be the establishment of a 1 world currency

What makes you want to leave the UK? Where would you even go?

I'm no longer in the UK, I'm back in Australia, and want to consolidate my savings.
The UK govt wouldn't let my company sponsor me for a visa, and also cut funding to my industry causing a downturn. Feels like one big plot against me right now.

Transfer it to EUR and let it settle for a few months. Then transfer to USD.

Is this implying that the GBP:EUR exchange rate hasn't changed much, and that the EUR is expected to improve sooner?
