Alright /biz/ how would you go about maximizing profits on a mobile game? Anyone on here making decent cash with their mobile app/game?
Also, what are some ways I can promote an app for free/cheap?

make a good game which doesn't annoy anyone with its pricing so it becomes famous
make a better sequel
well for example you could add a shop in your game were you could buy things e.g. different characters, weapons or shitee could be anything, think temple run you can buy coins to get stuff from store. You could then have advertisements , list it for free. It needs to be simple and addictive!
Very few people are willing to spend money on mobile games, unless you get lucky. You'd be better off making some shitty game for steam and adding trading cards. Make your game $2, put it on sale for 90% during the steam sale and you'll make good money.
