Where does one learn technical analysis or fundamental analysis? Which one should I learn? Are they even worth learning or are stocks truly unpredictable?

you don't need analysis, it's all a meme.
stocks cannot be predicted with maths.
you can only have a look at what's happening
>>
>>1343598
Fuck off

>>1343590
I can't imagine you not being able to find the fundamentals to the aforementioned analyses. Obviously they don't work 100% of the time (if they did trading wouldn't be profitable anymore), but it's a great way to get started.

Cannot you find online courses?
>>
>>1343629
I guess the first question was kind of stupid but the remaining two still hold.
>>
>>1343629
Ask your bank. Most offer free economic courses here in the EU. Especially online banks.

Just learn both, neither is terribly complicated. Honestly, FA helps you learn more about the health of the company while TA helps you figure out at least a little more about how the market works.

Some on here say that TA doesn't work, and quote shitty sources to back up these claims (I remember some bizfag quoting someone to called himself Prince of Trading, and ended up crying on stream because he lost money kek).

Nothing works 100% of the time, and the 'patterns' mentioned in TA doesn't work 100% of the time either. But some aspects still hold true. Ceilings and floors do offer a bit of resistance (after all, their formation is directly affected by the volume of buy and sell orders), and certain numbers are more often used as ceilings and floors because of certain reasons (e.g. 40 is a nicer number compared to 39.97, or 8 being a lucky number etc etc.)

I say that everyone should learn about FA and TA - they are, after all, rather widespread concepts. Even if something isn't true, enough people believing in it will make it true. That sounds stupid, but it's true. Take for example rumors. Even baseless rumors, when bad enough, can cause quick declines in value. Similarly, when enough people observe a pattern (whether true or untrue), and truly believe that a drop is imminent, they sell, thus CAUSING the drop.

Did you mean to reply to OP, anon?

a good place to start your FA journey

Reasonable response. Seeing as I don't have anything better to do I guess I might as well just learn both. Thanks for the response, it's feels like forever since I've seen a proper answer to a question on this board.

just get any intro to ta book.

i make a living from day trading, eminis, some fx majors pairs and gold on the 5 and 10 min chart. i stick with candles, support/resistance, cci, slow stoch and divergence. i use the cci in the traditional way and also discovered another way to read it that i didnt read about in any book. thats a secret that i dont tell. i also have a false positive indicator that i discovered on my own, and have never seen it in any book that i also keep as a secret.
