Salty /biz/ness men and women,
I'm seeking career guidance. What routes would you recommend for someone that would excel on the people side of business?
Soft skills are locked in because of my military background. I love interacting with people and I'm considered very charismatic. I would like to end up in management consulting as my primary path but I wanted some input from people currently working.
My quantitative skills are lacking. I'm fine when it comes to statistical analyses and fiscal math but calculus/algebra don't click for me. I have no interest in the programming/IT world.
Based on these facts what recommendations would y'all make?

Nah I wanna actively win business. That seems a little too much of a support role for me.

You could always get into sales.
Let's be fair here, most jobs don't require a genius; you'll be find, as long as you can develop a working resume and a chemistry between your interviewer--you'll live to retirement.
