I've got a gamble investing in a handful of canadian oil companies, basically weighing on the US elections
If Trump wins, or even if his odds are looking good, I think just the speculation that he'll want to greenlight more CAN-US pipeline projects would be enough to moon a handful

How do i start trading in canada if im on a student visa? I have about 5k in the bank
>>1336632
i use questrade. it lets you keep both us dollars and canadian dollars in your account.
ive heard that other trading platforms automatically settle your trades in canadian dollars. this means that when you go to buy us stocks with your canadian dollars, you will have to pay a currency conversion fee.
you're going to wan to be investing in american stocks mainly, because canada sucks and america is on the up and up.
