I knew a guy who owned a chain of Burger Kings. He told me more than once that the only thing holding him back from owning more than he did (7) was the capital required.

McDonalds never lose money. So 7% almost guaranteed isn't a terrible investment.

You guys realize if you tried to buy or start an existing McDonald's franchise with only 1 million you would get laughed out the door. You need to demonstrate 4-6 million liquid capital before you can even talk to the franchise people.
