What would you do if you were one of bill gates kids?

Bill Gate's parents were very rich, but he didn't take any money from them. He wanted to earn it all for himself. I'm sure he wants the same for his kids. But honestly if you have 10 million there's nothing left to earn. His kids could survive off of interest and retire today. People that want to retire early are pathetic.

Fuck that shit, I want to be a self made millionaire. I want to work my ass off everyday until I die. How else can you rub it in everyone's faces that you're smarter than them?

1) Gates and Gates's father strongly support the estate tax. They look at this through a macro (not micro-spoiled child) outlook and is likely guided by economic and philosophical thought that says concentration of extreme wealth is bad.

2) Having 10 million (i.e. 5X what the average college grad will make in a lifetime) in cash, sounds pretty fucking awesome. Not to mention the money that has already been spent on private schools, trips around the world, and so on.

3) The intangible benefit of being Gates's kid is worth billions. They (likely) can get hired for basically any non-technical job on the planet. They can't waltz into a cancer research center and do the research but they could waltz in a be a director making x00K a year.

Shit, not even being Gates's kid. If I was to simply get what my parents have (which is much smaller than the 5 million that is required to kick in the estate tax), I'd never have to do more than 10 hours a week at a minimum wage job. Paid House = no rent for me or rental income. Stocks/Cash = modest passive income.
