Generally, most of us think that we're in the 2nd bitcoin bubble which means we thinks its going to keep going up alot until sometime in July when they cut the amount of bitcoins you can mine in each block by half. Then you hold and let it go back up again and then sell once you think its going to drop again.

Also, as a store of value (which I would argue is the PRIMARY current use of Bitcoin - a new alternative to dollar, gold etc), the maturity and stability has great importance.
