Earlier today people using Robinhood were having trouble buying and selling. It would either execute half an hour too late, or not at all and the order would be cancelled, fucking the user over.

Also, if you sell a stock that Robinhood determines to be "volatile" (anything under $3), then you can't use those funds until the next day, even if you have RH Instant. That's kind of an asshole move on Robinhood's part, because most people on here are poor and need to buy and sell those penny stocks constantly to turn a decent profit. They don't have enough capital to invest in the more expensive ones yet, and Robinhood is limiting their best chance of getting to that point.

So I guess you get what you pay for. Robinhood is free, so yes you'll get shirty service and limited functionality.

It's the reason why I dumped RH and moved all my funds to a real broker.

You'll need ~$2000, go for stocks priced around $15 or so, and just buy a bunch, buy a stock one day when the MACD signals a low, sell it the next day when the MACD signals a high, aim for $20 profit a day.

also use your day trades for your extra cash after selling if the stock is still moving and grooving.

I bought AG and PLNT at their lows today, and if all goes well, I'll sell them on Monday, then buy IVAC (and maybe Kroger/PAYC, but that's expensive). All I need is for them to jump .20 from where I bought them and I'll make bank.

My plan is to go for stocks that are long-term bullish and just go from there.
