I have an interview in a few days at an engineering company, but the location they told me to meet is a brewery. Should I take the informal setting to mean that it's casual and I don't need to suit up?
try to make a joke about not knowing whether or not you should try and blend with the common folk or dress for business.

unless you're not in contact with them. if not, i'd go for a button up with slacks and oxfords at least. sort of in between.
Just wear a shirt and tie like every other respectable member of society asking for employment. Once you know the rules, things can change
I wouldn't wear a jacket to a brewery especially in the summer

Just look good dude. Shake their hands, tell a joke, adjust to how they react. You're the best at your job and you know it.

this
if you wear anything outside of chinos and a button down (not office tier) or you wont get hired.

Business casual

Remember: It's always better to be over dressed than under dressed.
Wear this: Dress shirt with tie (no jacket). Dress pants, with a belt and dress shoes.
You'll be golden.

I think this is the best way to go
