good business attire in general is the best option if you must "blow it" in one go. spend a whole day going to the highest grade tailors and find one that can make you a custom made suit for your price range ($2000 if you also want to get a nice watch, shoes and ties to go along with it, or go crazy and see where $3000 can take you). doing this has many benefits:

- you'll feel like a fucking king walking around with your suit for the rest of the day, and any day you do need/decide to wear it.
- in any professional situation, your peers and bosses will be able to tell your suit is of the highest quality. in a lot of cases with clothes and social settings this can be a mixed bag and send the wrong signals. but in social situations that call for a suit, it is always best to look your best and makes you look like a wise investor. overall it makes a massive difference to both your inner and outer sense of worth.
- you'll go home and feel very, very good about spending your money like a sophisticated suave gentlemen. and you will have a lasting memory of the day's ordeal of having a suit custom made. if you've never done it before, do it now. it's not inly a fun experience but it can set you in the mindset for future success down the road, wherein you'll crave more of these scenarios.
- it will last you your entire life if you stay fit (assuming you are right now, or at least of average build). and if you're a fat fuck, even better; dont buy a suit then. use that $3000 over the course of a year towards a gym membership and some time with a personal trainer and/or dietrician.

alternatively, spend only $2000 tops for the best custom suit you can buy, go to a casino with the other $1000 and see what happens. the difference between wasting $1000 and $3000 at a casino is negligible (can spend the whole night there with $1000 if you play smart), may as well cut your losses at a reasonable barrier. and you'll look boss doing it (and likely get some pussy to go with it).

The ones I hang out with aren't especially religious, and they promote a healthier lifestyle than the friends I first made when I came to uni (I used to go out and binge drink constantly and do drugs every other week and pretty much failed all my exams), all my Muslim friends (I still have white friends as well) are getting 2.1s or 1sts and looking to get a good job, make money and live decent lives.
