Most of the time the month of June is usually a bad month for bullish oil bets. And your friends at Glencore supposedly own 30% of the Brent market supply. The Hunt brothers tried to corner silver and Brian Hunter of Amaranth tried to corner the wrong side of the March/April natural gas "widowmaker" spread. Bad things happen to big trades when everyone knows you have such size on. Bad things. Not as bad as watching your natural gas traders idly scratch their nuts while watching price ladders on the trading room floor, but generally bad.
