Hey guys,
A friend of mine recently suggested that I should look into altcoin stuff, as it may come in handy one day.
I reckon mining is a "tough" process, so I gotta ask you folks a few things:
- For a newbie, what altcoin should I look to and hardware to invest? My main rig has a single 980TI which I doubt is good for anything in a large-scale.
- How can I trade these so called altcoins?
- How will I know when to "cashout"/invest more?
Cheers.

Stay away from cryptos. You'll thank me later.
>>1275196
There's no value in mining, if you're mining established mainstream coins.
>Be on the lookout for the latest alt coin
>Mine
>Pump dump, or wait for the value to rise
>Exchange for BTC
>Cash out

they do it all for you, best thing about it is you get paid in btc
simple as hell they mine eth and other shitcoins with huge gpu rigs exchange it to btc.
roi is 3 months which is insane
>>1275201
or this... there is wisdom in this anons words
>>1275196
Get yourself some Trumpcoins. Trading on Yobit and c-cex. You'll know when to cash out when Trumpcoins are on the front page of Drudge.
>>1275246
>Willingly buying into a ponzi scheme
you say that is a bad thing. also strong signs is not definite proof.
risk and reward go hand in hand really great rewards should always go with terrible risks or equally great investment.
>There's a lot to be made flipping the latest meme coin anon
too much work for me i'm not that desperate also buying physical iron to mine with is in my eyes no less risky overall than a shady cloud mining service. but it also produces a lot of heat and that i don't need this summer.
>>1275254
>US dollars aren't a literal Ponzi scheme
>people in 20 years won't be drowning in even more Fed debt
Don't listen to anon saying stay away from cryptos, he just wants to hoard them to himself.
Buy trumpcoins -> sell during pre-election spike (or MSM spike) for 10x the BTC
Convert half your profits into dollars and invest in S&P index funds.
Split remaining BTC into 80% BTC/ 20% ETH.
Literally perfect plan. Screencap this anon so in 6 months you'll have something to look at when you laugh/cry in six months (depending on your choice)
>>1275285
already hoarding trumpcoins.
but it's slow because i'm so poor.
i almost want to beg for trumpcoins here in this post.

>>1275231
Is this site actually legit? I highly doubt it.
did someone say trumpcoin
TVVAmFy1GJskiMeWoyoTqqL9GLazWoa7gt
Put the whole shebang in ETH, thank me later
>>1278287
not sure what you mean by legit.
on one hand some russian dude set it up there is no company and they ride/hijack cloudflare cert for https.
on the other hand for more than a year they meet their payouts like clockwork i never heard of a single issue with them.
i backtracked the payouts through the structuring accounts on blockchain.info
there is sick amount of bitcoin on their balances.
i have found a few with several ten thousands.
>>1278394
i concur
eth is the shit, wtf is trumpcoin, a useless clone coin with no use
>>1278424
agreed, except eth has no future imo
>>1275231
>https://hashocean.com/?rid=470464
cloud mining is scam. why would you give it processing power and not mine it yourself if you had the chance? its like : oh i land you my computer for x and you can get 2x out of mining !! its garanteed profit. yeah right.
>>1278424
Trumpcoin will get so big it will fund Mr Trump's election campaign.
Trump holders will be sipping mai tais on their own private island laughing at the tears of regret from eth bagholders.
>>1280183
Trump coin is just the new dogcoin
>>1275231
i'm 3 weeks into this and have had a transfer every 2 days once it passes the transfer threshold. the btc are ready to transfer a few minutes after midnight.
buying trumpcoins with the payments instead of buying more hashocean power, lol.
80% profit on the Trumpcoins and growing every day. Get in while they are still cheap and sell during their peak at the end of trump election.
>>1280064
because the profits are not guaranteed at all.
if you invest into a mining rig you take all risks.
if you let an other fool pay for it then you take a cut relative risk free.
whatever happens with the coins and mining in the next 6 months you can't possibly lose.
probably that is the rationale.
>>1280230
>buying trumpcoins with the payments
now that is one coin i really wouldn't touch.
pic related it's how retarded it is.
>>1280254
TRUMP is Last of the great meme coins before all alts crash.
People make money off of stupid things all the time.
>>1280347
>the altcoin to end all altcoins
i wish anon i wish
>>1280347
i honestly cant tell which is the scammiest of scamcoins anymore tho
>>1275231
little update
some anon from here gave me a nice bump using my ref, i would suck your dick if it wasn't too gay. thx m8!
now i make as much in 2 days as in the first 8 days. kinda awesome. my roi is now only 14 days away.
>>1280049
Lol eth has no future from a trumpcoin proponent no less. Well i never thought id see the day...
>>1281771
That would be me :)
P.S. guys already made like 5% of my investment back and I have automatic payments so it's definitely legit so far.
Buy Dogecoins Dogecoin is the currency of the future
>>1275196
Buy ethereum. Its like really good and cool and the future and stuff.
>>1281916
This. All about Trumpcoin now baby.
>>1281999
Sorry, I don't buy anything named after an internet meme.
>>1281944
good going anon, i limited myself greatly
partly because i felt ripped off at the buying of bitcoin and how hashocean determines the price, partly because i was not sure what to think i did not research hashocean much before i got into it with pocket change.
hope it works out for you.
have you seen the ratings at the users menu?
crazy shit man. some people have balls of steel.
An alternate choice is through genesis mining. They accept credit cards along with btc and other cryptocurrencies. I have $550 invested in Eth mining. I am planning to dump 4btc once i close my trading position. Check it out and use this ref link.

What a fucking scam. $37 for 1mh/s? At those process you might as well set up your own basement rig, you'd get a better roi.
>>1282545
probably it's for people that don't want to or can't set up their own rigs. you usually have to pay bonus for convenience. i fail to see your problem.
a big obnoxious looking loud machine that devours power (you don't get it at a discount price unlike a company in some third world shithole) and this machine produces a fuckton of heat in the summer.
no thanks!
>>1282545
>$37 for 1mh/s?
how did that come out for them?
hashocean charges $378 for 2 video cards that cost about $60 or $100 for them, but there are other costs involved with setting up so i don't find this outrageous.
