Depending on your country, there will soon be an over supply of them I think. A lot of Engineers are still think they are the smartest shit alive and think a degree will be enough - which it might for the minute but not for long. Will always be demand for them but the supply is creeping up especially considering so many countries offer free university.

Also its a dull as shit job from what I hear - asked to calculate pipe lengths and the requires drill bit for this and that.
