hey guyss I have a car inrance clainm question and am wondering if you have any input.
My car was totalled, I was legally parked on the street when , a drunk hit and run speedder went t o jail for a year for crashing into a guy making a left without seing and being a bit just a tad hinjured. Everyone has insurance but so far one company just said fuck it and gave me "half" the money. Im having problems getting that other half for what my bike is worth on KBB. Im being advised ot go to small claims court Thats allI know. They took my shitting bike ya hear and I cant afford lawyers to get that other half and lose from that half. Theres has to be a way where I get my equal share.

They always do this to see if you're a sucker. most people do not pursue. Go to small claims court w/ documents showing the value of the vehicle the more money you can "prove" it is worth the more you're entitled too. and the amount on the check they gave you. and say one of these things is not like the other.
however it depends on what you were insured for. You have to read that contract. most people don't have full coverage.

I owed it fully. Im going to assume most people involved just had minimum liability. How would I bring two companies to court at the same time? And if the insurance paid cant cover as much as its value , whats next for me am i screwed and have to personally sue them? Thats screed as they are poor. And how does depends what i was insured fore count if it wasnt a fault of mine?
