FAQs
> How is it free?
They invest your unsettled funds after a trade.
It's also pretty basic software.

> When is it coming to my country?
Probably never. They only have plans on an Australian beta ( https://robinhood.com/au/).

> It's been X days, why isn't my account isn't verified yet?
If it takes more than 3 days, try emailing their support. They are very good.

> Is this the right place to pump and dump and/or shill a worthless stock?
No, please go to Stocktwits, Plebbit, or one of our many chat groups.

> What's a good penny stock to invest in?
Don't buy penny stocks you cum guzzling mouth breathing retard.

> I hit sell when the stock was X.XX, but it actually sold at a lower price, am I being jewed?
No, that would actually be illegal. Robinhood graphs are just shit and only show you an average, not-really-realtime price. To get Bid/Ask prices and important things like candlestick graphs, you should use a more robust platform.

> Where can I get better charting or bid/ask?
thinkorswim is bretty gud if you want to go open a second account with real broker.
Otherwise you should be using Yahoo/Google finance or even Stocktwits for your graphing in addition to Robinhood.

I don't see the hype of guns getting much higher than they already are man. The media goes over the status of gun control every now and then and gets all of the gun enthusiasts up in arms about the democrats taking their shit but as of the past few years it just gets the people up in arms with out much spike in gun sales. I'd sell SIX unless you have good reason to believe they will continue to go up at rocket speed. You tell me; I didn't do DD on them.

GRPN looks like they should be good for a few days of syck gaynz.

ATVI looks like it should grow for a while as well.

Again, I didn't do any DD, I just read top, recent news articles. A little reasoning behind why you are holding each stock (particularly if you are concerned about one in particular) would be helpful because then people would be able to fact check for you.

What the FUCK happened to GBSN
>>
>>1176746
Don't buy penny stocks is what happened to GBSN. What do you want to know?

As a dumb motherfucker who fell for the NETE meme, I am prepared to tell you anything you need to know. Luckily NETE always dead cat bounces a couple days after they sell a bunch of stocks after each earnings report to pay off their debts, and then a few dumb quants write articles about how "I don't know why it's so low! This stock should be evaluated much higher!" (seriously, look at the stock chart over a year; it's hilarious that I fell for this shit, but I should get my money back at .33 so whatever).

GBSN is a penny stock. They did a reverse split, so they're technically not a penny stock today, but they will be a penny stock again soon, goy-jin

question for all my homies in here. i know a ceo of a company that contracts out IT work for energy companies. i know that a certain company plans for their annual budget based on oil being priced at $70 a gallon. this is even currently in their 2016 planning.

would it be advantageous to short this stock knowing that theyve been running under budget for a while and knowing that it isnt really public knowledge yet?

I'm not saying that at all. Go on /r/wsb or stocktwits or yahoo message boards lmao. GBSN and NETE are shitty pump n dumps that get hyped and manipulated but the companies have no true value in a long term aspect. It's painfully obvious but some anons still fall for it.

I'm not saying that the PnD is being orchestrated on here on a scale that actually affects the market.

Nete did exactly what I knew it would. You had to buy at .20 to make bank. Nobody was holding long term, there was a pump before earnings release at which point everyone sold after it broke
40 cents. This is how penny stocks work 90% of the time. GBSN had you looked at the 1 year chart was suicide from the start. Do a LITTLE research you faggot.
>>
>>1177321

Okay here is my suggestion for you faggots: stop researching and talking about NETE and GBSN and look at some stocks that actually have a huge potential for gains. I'm talking CPXX levels right here.

Right now the biggest prospects for me in biotech are CERU and BIND. Both companies are set to release data for their phase 2 of their clinical trials some time this month. Even if you don't play the data release its still quite probable to make money on the hype leading up to it.

Here is a 26 page PDF on BIND and maybe I can convince at least one of you to read it:

https://slack-files.com/files-pri-safe/T0A7H3XB5-F0Y2EESF8/bind_therapeutics.pdf?c=1459866709-28d2e3f5f6188c44cd5e3d328345174bf45df6f3

>>1177320
No clue I dont want to be bothered to research more companies than I already am but a basic place for yourself to start researching is in the companies history. Find out why the stock went from $25 to $6. Was it because of a failed clinical trial? Did some patients die? Merger / Acquisition fall through, etc. Also look to find if they have anything in their pipeline and if they have any upcoming catalysts.
>>
>>1177415
Thoughts on PGNX?
>>
>>1177334
I don't know if you have ever considered this but if you make enough of a profit it is always possible to sell enough shares so that your cost basis becomes zero and you now own "free" shares of the company that basically are just pure profit.
>>
>>1177417
PGNX had their results delayed by 3 months.
>>
>>1177417
Also a good stock for discussion here. I've heard good things about it and would definitely consider doing further research on it if I had more time. Right now I am focused on a few biotechs so I won't be trying to do any research for you guys. If you present me something interesting I will consider looking further in to the stocks that you ask me about but almost always none of you have much to say and I don't enjoy those discussions.

OPK, BIND, HRTX, CYTR are all the biotech stocks I'm in right now.

OPK - rayaldee approval delayed due to minor mnfg. observations, green light in ~2MO, 95% confidence

BIND - phase 2 drug trial results upcoming (april)

HRTX - Sustol approval early April, 3rd time they submitted after sever delays, if approves will be big, expect something this week.

CYTR - Top line data of phase 3 clinical trial due out end of qrt. Should be a big boost.

As always do your own DD.

I'm hesitant to enter into BIND because there hasn't been any insider trading. Usually when there's a good result, insiders will buy some stocks, especially if they are cheap like BIND is now. The fact that they haven't might indicate some problem with the trials. Or maybe they just aren't into buying stocks :S

>>
>>1178762
Yeah I've waited about a week now. Alright
>>
>>1178764
your cash is "settled"?

i mean its showing as "buying power" right now?

if its not then that might be the issue. takes 3 days from a stock sale to get the cash settled into your account
>>
>>1178767
Yes it shows as buying power. But when I go to the banking tab, the "withdrawable cash" part is still $0. So maybe I just need to wait that out.
>>
>>1178764
You have two "currencies" buying power and withdrawable cash.

You can buy stocks with buying power or cash.

Buying power becomes cash after about 5 days without being used.

If you buy then sell something, the buying power or cash is consumed and any money from the sell has to wait 3 days to settle into buying power and another 5 without being touched to become cash.

Fuck off, sixkeks. Yo're lashing out because you were fucking wrong and that's embarrassing. All your picks are for prospective companies that have little-to-no evidence that they can even be profitable. You are the worst person here.

I know how to read a financial report and made good gains before I came here by buying solid, often blue chip stuff that was undervalued and holding it for about a week. I'm looking for a board where other people also want to do/act like that.
>>
>>1178825
I was wondering about this.

If I take a few thousand dollars and put it in blue chips (say..Google, or Disney), but one that pays dividends, is that better than a savings account?

I'm not in a position to gamble away my money, not really. But if this is pretty safe and better than a savings account, I want to do it.

Is that a good idea?

If you guys are so pussy shit that it bothers when you loose a week worth of McDonald's money how do you ever expect to trade at high volume? When you can loose thousands in a day. Losses are going to happen. Deal with it.
>>
>>1178840
historically you can say yes it has been better than savings accounts

of course nobody can predict the future, the whole market could go to absolute shit tomorrow and you could lose everything
(not likely but you know once shit starts tumbling it turns into a horrible panic sell fest pretty quick)

anyway yeah banks dont give you shit for interest rates these days on a savings account or a CD so theyre really not worth keeping your money in imho. better off with bonds or something
>>
>>1178808
$SWHC and $TSLA were good calls people made based on fundamentals. But the fact of the matter is most blue chips don't have much to discuss because by nature they are stable; and so they aren't posted as much.

If you want safe and boring buy literally any S&P500 index and call it a day. You don't need a forum for that.
>>
>>1178845
My problem is that they happen 99% of the time with memes. Does anyone know of anywhere aside from 4chan where people have really solid, essay-length conversations about their picks?

>>
>>1178836
Sixkeks posts biotech companies with potential catalysts that can mean big windfalls. He's been right now more times than not.

If you want to discuss your boring 3% trades go to plebbit. Seriously, that's the place to go for it.
>>
>>1178840
Yes. You don't know if the company will be in bussiness or not and it still carries a risk.

But were talking about giants like GE, CAT, GM, AT&T, J&J, etc. Large cash reserves and stable industries, so they are very safe positions. And if you have some high yield dividends coming in, it certainly can out earn a savings account.

Just do your research.
