So what's a long time? I own YUM shares which was tricon & PepsiCo, etc. Bought it at 16 when I did the Pizza Hut deal. I've spent no money on it since then & dividends have been reinvested. Bought it around $23 or $29 a share back in the 90s. It's at $82 & change. I have yet to sell because dividends keep coming & all of it is reinvested in shares.

Had this damn thing for 20yrs. So I'm questioning when to pull the trigger.

Sometimes I will search "highest gap up stocks today" when the market has been open for 1-2 hrs and I'll buy some of the small cap stocks that look good (small cap because it takes less people to change the price). I'll sell the stock near the end of the day if the price went up. If it goes down, I hold until the price goes back up to avoid losing any money. What do you think?
