Uni student, part time web dev for uni, freelancer on the side.

My primary client is an old high school friend's mother. She brings me work (stuff like db admin, programming, copywriting/editing, editing and layout, lots of stuff) from a couple businesses she and her husband run, a state regulatory organization she's pretty high up in, and some educational coop she's also involved in. Brings in anywhere from 300-2k per job (i charge her and her husband less than I charge the government), usually 5-6 jobs a year. I could get more jobs if I asked, but this keeps my schedule full.

How2freelance is basically just uhh know people and be good at doing stuff they need done.
