im in australia. i have a bachelors degree.

to be honest. its not the actual work thats shit. its who you work with.

im a lazy, lazy man. i only work 17.5 hours a week.

if youre motivated enough, you could easily be on very good coin.

travel with this degree is easy as well. uk, canada, new zealand.
a lot of hate towards nursing for some reason but its a good wage. you can always use it as a springboard to something greater

After that you get to choose between taking care of the guy infected with an anti bacterial resistant super bug he got from his last trip to the hospital which will fuck you up for week. Or deal with the woman screaming for help for 6 hours straight who will beat the shit out of you and give you a black eye and you can't do shit besides take it because it's a no restraint facility.
Then when you are done doing that for 10 hours and your replacement doesn't show up and you have to stay indefinitely until someone has pity on your sorry ass and comes in for you because otherwise it's abandonment and you go to federal prison. But wait, some fucking retard/parkinson's/alzheimer's patient falls on their head and you get to write a report for 3 hours.
Enjoy your 6 hours of sleep before you do it again. Oh, did I mention you'll be stress eating out of the vendor machine all night since you can't actually leave and you'll get fat as fuck like every nurse ever? Enjoy your career.

I'm a male nurse and will always be hired before another RN simply because I'm a guy. Male patients prefer male caregivers and female patients don't have to worry about passive aggressive women taking care of them.
