Never EVER actually gamble.it yields 0.65 returns on average, meaning only complete dipshits would ever gamble.

Betting isnt amazing either, at 1.0 returns it only serves to make games more exciting.

Stocks and real estate are much better gambling. Their returns are just above 100%, meaning the averge person makes small gains. Even qhenyou get burned, you learn something useful. Id just fill the void with those.

There are many other types of investments, but they often have more liability than stock or are less linear than real estate.

Somewhat addicted to gambling myself and although I'm like extremely proficient with maths, statistics etc and recognize that for every £1,000 I play for I lose around 60-70, the adrenaline still takes the upper hand. Guess I just have to find a substitute for the adrenaline rush. I'm clever though and if you live in London I'd be more than happy to meet for a chat. You do say you are dumb though but let me know.
