Yeah agreed, I've been watching for the last few weeks. Here's a few takeaways from the beginners lessons I learned.
I lowered my cost basis
I spent the right amount of money I was supposed to spend
I improved my probability of success
I understand exactly how much stock I'm dealing with
I know what my return on capital is
Peace.
It's annoying I can't get involved with this stuff though. I'm in the UK so most of it I'm ruled out from. Then again, living here and trading on the LSE offers stuff you guys can't get involved with and isn't a bad market to trade on. I feel sorry for people who don't have any access to developed markets like ours though.

Seeing as though you mentioned it (Dough.com) Do you know if I can use that from the UK if I link it to the TDAmeritrade UK branch, TD Direct Investing? Or can you only use it if you're a US resident?

While you're right, a small amount of capital is quite limiting, if you can get it going from a small base then you can do anything. You will learn how to do it the hard way and learn very valuable lessons.
>Might as well work harder instead
Are you saying this is not work? Or is it not work unless you're buying and selling tangible goods?
