Investing in TV and Film companies, is it a smart move?

I can sense whenever a movie's gonna flop and when it won't, is it a good idea to put my money into some of these companies prior a movie release?

A movie doing good doesn't mean a film studio is doing good. Same with a movie doing bad. Film always seemed like a shitty investment to me.
