should have expanded my swing business but i guess it would have been kinda hard as i had to be lowkey for 2 years

Is swing trading literally just trying to time the market? What tools do people use for it?

My average trade lasts about 45 seconds.

It would be more appropriate to call what I'm doing Scalping than swing trading.

Isn't the only difference between swing trading a day trading the fact that hold swing trades for longer than a day and day trades for less than a day. Maybe I'm wrong.

How do you even do that. My orders take several minutes to go through. Also, you must have 100k+ to make any money on a 5 cent movement.

Reg-T Margin account w/ Interactive Brokers, and very carefully placed limit orders.

5s means 5 second resolution OHLC bars, however anything above 2 cents is profitable if you're scalping 100+ shares at a time.
