/biz/ help me. I've been trying to get a job for a while and now I have an interview with an insurance company to be part of their marketing team running their SEO and SEM operations. Problem is I have no experience with this, my major isn't even in marketing, it's in economics and finance. What buzzwords do I need to know to sound like I know what I'm talking about.

Well I have to get hired first and to get hired I would imagine I have to convince them that I can do the job in the first place.

But isnt your major in economics and finance? Did you just bullshit your way through high school a college degree and now a job interview and eventually a job? I dont know how youve gotten this far but keep it up if you can.

Well I imagine like most people I used a little bullshitting to get the interview. In my cover letter I never stated what my major was, just that it was in commerce. I told them I had done an internship with a marketing department which is true but not that all I did there was bitch work. Isn't this how all people get jobs?
