I spent my entire college career switching majors trying to find the job that's best for me, because all my advisers told me when I find it ill be happy.

I've come to terms with the fact that every job is going to feel like a job to me, no matter what. and my main aspiration that keeps me motivated is to make enough money to invest and live off of dividends so I can be a 24/7 NEET.

I've always told myself I wanted to be a trader but as I learned the job I know I would be utterly miserable in it. I'm glad I landed at investment banking instead so I can just do nothing in the downtime.
I spent most of my time reading and doing fuck all and have some bursts of work for about one or two weeks.
I actually hope to do an MBA and get a director position in corporate banking middle office so I'm secured. Since I'm positive my social awkwardness makes originating deals impossible I can't climb the ladder in the front office past VP.

Jumping jobs is a great way to get paid more and no one cares. Explaining how a ship is built is a good opener but I'm not sure I can hold an interesting conversation past that.

I'm making 81k after getting in a sweet niche job. It literally is who you know in CS; be a competent programmer and befriend all the mildly chill people in your major. 2 or 3 will do well and you should keep in occasional touch with them. Make sure to start out applying to any and every job you don't even qualify for; the interview experience will help you land the job when you're finally recommended by a contact, or you might just get one of the jobs you interview for without a contact.

I applied to, unjokingly, 180 positions in a 3 month period. I had 3 interviews, landed the 3rd job, worked for 2 years on 43k (bills to pay), used that experience to get a 70k job from a friend's referral, got a 15% raise 18 months later. Job hopping isn't a meme, it's survival.

Second, and most important advice: You have to program outside of classes.

School doesn't teach you shit. It's all cookie cutter crap with no execution or creativity. Set a project for yourself every semester for something you'd actually like to use:

>Adjust an open source alarm clock to play random parts of random songs
>Create a D&D character sheet app for some homebrew setting
>Make a meme generator app without bullshit watermarks
>Contribute to a piece of shit flayybird ripoff
>Tweak existing projects in retardedly fun ways
>Write an app that hides porn on someone's screen, finally spamming it 4 months later, send it to people you dislike

Get creative and get involved; I only did what was needed in school and now I can't program worth shit; luckily I handle a system that's more customized so I learned the tricks of that trade when the company was desperate.

pay off debt before investing. It isn't worth starting until you do. Make note that investing is not saving, you can save money at any time while paying off debt then invest after you have debt in control.
