>>1053733
93 octane in the us is equivalent to 100 octane in Europe... AKI vs RON measurement...
>>1053878
>mfw live in socal
>mfw libcuck california taxes make me pay $3.05 a gallon
>mfw neighboring states pay a full dollar less
thank god im moving in september
>>1053883
For some reason our government here in Perth makes us pay a way higher GST (Goods and services tax) than any other state.
I recently landed this FIFO gig which has taken away about 80% of my expenses but god damn my major expense when I come home is still fuel and I am just shocked that the price has only dropped 20 cents the last 6 months.
>>1053888
check'd
from google: "Colin Barnett: 15 per cent GST ‘too much’"
holy shit the fact that they're even considering that is terrifying
>>1053896
With all the workers being laid off lately as well I am pretty confused as to why they would raise it to 15%.
They recently fired around 2000 people from my company in the last 2 months and the town I work in has become a ghost town.
>TFW I'll probably be next
>>1053579
more like....OILgarchy
>>1053612
>Ive heard Cali has like a 3$ tax on gas because muh environment.

Kek'd. Crossing the border from Arizona to California, literally going to a gas station 2 miles down the road, adds somewhere between $.50 to $1 per gallon, and I can guarantee that's all tax. And diesel isn't banned, it's just much more expensive than regular.
That said I'm getting the fuck out of this state as soon as I'm done with school. Dealing with the prices and taxes is a huge turnoff.
I'll come back when I'm rich enough to not pay taxes.
>>1053883
Where are you thinking of moving to? Do you already have a job lined up? I'm just curious. California's whole money situation is just so retarded.
>tfw lucky to get $1.10 per liter
JUST
sub 1.50 gas
Clinton and Bush running for president
Full House coming back soon
its 1992 all over again
GOLDEN AGE HERE WE FUCKING COME!
I can get under a dollar if I use my vip points from my local grocery store.
Arizona sucks ass but gas is cheap
>>1053314
>mfw V-power here in Australia is 98 octane and regular is 91.
Why do Americans have such crap fuel?
>>1054081
your RON 98 octane is roughly equivalent to our AKI 94 octane, which isn't too hard to find on the east coast
>>1054034
Gas is 1.95 average today.
It was 1.20 in 2002.
>>1054152
http://zfacts.com/gas-price-history-graph
Here's the inflation adjusted chart. We are close 85-95 prices, and 50 cents from 95-2002 prices.
>>1054021
I know that feel fellow roofucker
>>1054041
>Arizona sucks ass *if you're poor
Fixed that for you
>>1053623
Fuck you nigger it was like 3.50 when I went to the pump in Irvine yesterday
Gas would be like 80 cents if they got rid of all the extra taxes they put on it. Taxes on gas should be like 10 cents /gal max.
>>1053314
enjoy it while you can bruh. gas prices will probably be whatever price you've got and keep declining a bit for about a year or 2 at least.
>>1054217
Liar.
>>1053314
oh no , oil prices are down, economies will collapse
meanwhile everyone enjoys cheap energy prices
carshits btfo. how does it feel to be dependent on big oil
