contact tech or otherwise relevant blogs to ask if they can post about your app
after 2-3 months set price to 100% (promotion now over faggots)

that's sort of how i would do it. always helps to know exactly where your target audience hangs out on the internet, and use whatever attracts them most to pimp out your app to them. for instance if i made adult entertainment apps i would make use of popular memes and shit. even if its corny.
