>Poloniex: federal honeypot is blocking outward transfers
>Not showing TXids
Reminder poloniex is likely trying to cause the next "mtgox" style crash by having positioned itself as "le major exchange" and then now pulls an exit scam at ATH in ETH and BTC where volume is coming in big league in an effort to discredit it.
Mark this post.
BUY THE DIP THAT POLONIEX IS ABOUT TO CAUSE

I've had a withdrawal processing since last week.

I... don't really know what part. Specifically ETC and ETH is having errors mostly. I'd say try to convert to a shitcoin they are't blocking and then get it too bittrex ASAP
Glad I got out of that clunky shit website.
>tfw scrolling up and down graph timeframes
ATTENTION: POLONIEX RUN INCOMING!!!!
Support claims ETC, BTC and XPR wallets are 'slow' today, but there's something more sinnister going on.
When i tried to withdrawal 1 ETH today, first it took longer than normal to complete.
However once the action was completed, it showed a NON-EXCISTING Txid!!
This is technically impossible, since the TXid should only be generated when a actual transaction took place. When looking for the Txid in the blockchain you will see it doesn't exist.
This means 1 out of 2 things:
1) Someone hacked their system and messed up their withdrawal code.
2) This is somekind of exit strategy.
Whatever is wrong, i suggest to sell all assets to another altcoin and move to another market.
See the trollbox if you don't believe me
FUD

Poloniex is a federal honeypot. I wouldn't be surprised if they did actually try to do some mtgox shit.

Well, I'm getting out!
I have a question that I hope someone will be able to answer. Why is the current price of Ethereum what it is?
What gives it this value? I know, it's a platform for decentralized everything but why is one ethereum (ETH) token worth nearly 200$? I know projects, apps, fundraisers can be done on the platform, so wouldn't the price be better with a simpler/constant value?
Why isn't ethereum 1$ or 10$ or 100$ or 1000$ let's say? When people stop using en mass, wouldn't it be easier for a specific, rounded amount to be constant for ETH?
Let's say I start an app worth 1000$. Wouldn't it be easier for me to know I must pay say 10 ETH, rather than 0.00001 or 0.023412564? Or I want to raise 300k$. Wouldn't 300 ETH be more simple for the general public rather than say 0.0120234503356 ETH?
I am sorry if there is a very simple explanation that I am missing, but I'm obviously missing it.
>uneducated people need not apply
>people that bought ETH cheap and don't want to hear the dream might end need not apply
>shills need not apply
>delusional people need not apply
Not everything has to be in base 10 OP. There's a reason US currency is traded in pips as well - it's just obvious that you can't into forex.
>>2144822
True. But would about your avearage joe? Don't you think it would be easier for him to have it in base 10? If this platform where to become mainstream?
Think of how many older people are still not into the internet, social media or constant online presence. And they represent a huge market.

what*
Why no one here tells us about cashing out?
Who really cashed out huge money here?
Because it takes like 10 seconds to do so.
And how cares about it, people are interested in making money in the first place.
no onencashed out crypto is a giant ponzu scheme. invest in google and apple, goy

>cashing out before the real payday

I just got offered a job with a defense contractor for the government at around $55k. I'm fresh out of college.
But I'm also an autistic neet who has made around $45k in 5 months trading crypto. What do?
Aren't you guys worried about health care or insurance or anything like that? Seems like crypto might not be worth it full time when thinking about other benefits.
At the same time though, I have no fiat cash. All my money is tied up in crypto and am only about $5k liquid.
REEEEEEEEEEEEE being poor sucks but wagecuck life sounds bad too.
>>2144638
wagie life can fund more crypto, budget yourself out for some quality of life increases and have a crypto budget a month
work for 2-3 years doing this and plan an early retirement
work your job and put some of your pay into crypto, obviously
>>2144650
This is what I was thinking. I'm thinking maybe $1k a month. I live like a hobo already. I eat beans and jelly out of a jar and live in a shithole apartment. As long as I don't get used to the new cash too much I think it can be a good idea too. I'm 24 and want to be a crypto millionaire by 30. Had I not fell for the university meme I could have done that I think had I started crypto 4 years ago.
Holy fuck +38.42%
$181 fucking dollars
It's at 39.5% now
I just wired €25 into my newly verified Coinbase account. A small amount, I know, but it should be enough for a laugh with shitcoins. Just wanted to try this out.
Then I figured out that Coinbase only has BTC, LTC and ETH. I wanted to trade with coins that are worth way less than those, what do I do now? Did i fuck up already? Or is this normal and should I wire the BTC bought at Coinbase to another broker? If so, what broker?
Thanks in advance
>>2144506
>wired 25$
>50$ in fees
>>2144506
>If so, what broker?
I'm also interested in good shitcoin brokers, though for me, I would wire the bitcoins over from Kraken.
do some fkn research before you invest
ETH didn't go up to quick r-rigjt guys? It won't have a king Kong size pull back will it?
>>2144503
That just means more memes and money for me at the dip.
Tell me why it went up. If you can't do that without bullshitting something or giving some half assed reason, then you'd better start pulling out a bit here and there before the whales decide to take their piece and it will be larger and more manipulative than yours will, trust that. There will be some kind of correction and people will post Pepe with a gun in his mouth with shit like
>bought in at $120
>could have sold at $200
>tfw I'll lose money if I cash out now
pls buy the dip
If you don't believe me, screen cap and read this ~1 week from now. Anyone that bought after about $100 is more than likely going to lose their money if they don't start taking a piece out here and there. The early investors have way, way more than any of you late idiots and will take their wins. You'd better hope you cash out before they do, thought.
t. bought $12,000 at ICO and will not hesitate to fuck everyone over if it reaches $195
>>2144713
>man sells BTC at ATH of $300
>two years later kills himself
>man sells ETH at ATH of $200
>two years later ____
Is day trading cryptos feasible?
Can you day trade without leverage and still get a decent profit?
If you go at it for ~8 hours a day and don't get greedy, I'd say you can make a pretty tidy sum, 10% of return a day even. I'm noticing it's easier to get crazy returns when you start out, but you have to be more careful when you get bigger or else you'll affect the market too much
Yeah, easily.
I made 10k into 300k last year from daytrading
Something I've always wondered about crypto currencies. How exactly do you guys plan on cashing out? I see a whole lot of SPECULATION, but have you ever seen anyone who's actually made a REALIZED fortune from crypto currencies?
gold
>>2144335
No. People are still holding BTC for future gains.
100k merchants are accepting bitcoin today.
Trade for fiat. Takes like 10 seconds.. Trade for minerals like gold and silver too. Shit you could sell it for loli bjs if you so choosed
I SOLD AT 400 AND THEN
BOUGHT IN AT 920!!!!!*!!!!!!
it's fine my dude :)
may be a few bumps along the way, but only up from here!!!
>>2144326
If it makes you feel better, i bought at 117 then sold at 370. Then bought at 300 and sold at 780
Actually that just makes me feel better
It's ok, Lambro, you don't need to cancel your order. Put a second lambo on order, $10 DGB in a few months easy, we living in the good times brother :)

Me nigger cant wait
I am hehe xd.
/biz/ is too impersonal. People don't care if it's a risk ro someone else on here.
They'll never tell you not to buy or to sell becuase then the price goes down for them. When you hold a coin all you can do is look out for yourself. Telling someone you made a mistake on a coin is bad because if they buy in your bags gain value.
That's why the only things you'll ever see are to buy in, even if it's an all time high, or to hold even if your money is sinking like the titanic.
In the end the mentality in biz is that everyone except you are just suckered to make money off of. Pump your coin and then leave them holding the bags. Anyone left behind isn't your problem. If someone is also holding the coin with you, just tell them to hold. That way when the price drops at least you have company.
We need to fix this garbage.
Stop exploiting each other.
