Can hype sustain a coin forever? Even if the coin doesn't do anything meaningful, if there is enough hype, can the hype alone drive the price higher, generating more hype which makes the price higher, leading to some kind of self fulfilling perpetual hype machine?
When does it all die off? What's stopping this from happening?
>>2320222
>Hype builds
>People keep buying in
>Price rises exponentially
>Some people think to cash out
>Price dips
>Other people freak out, hype dies
>More people sell
>Price crashes
This happens with bitcoin every now and then, we're getting close to a crash.
>>2320266
If we're getting close to a crash, what can I do to prepare?
>inb4 buy lube for imminent assrape
Start accumulating this low volume coin for the next time it doubles. Buy hodl wait 1 week
Maybe, or maybe not if the blockchain/bittrex keep cucking me over
>>2320278
Wont be too long at least it sees ot
>he doesnt jack off atleast once before making a financial/investment decision
Geez, how does it feel knowing that you'll never make it.
>implying
>>2423678
What if you're low-test and risk adverse...? then you should ONLY invest when you're on no-fap, right?
I like to jack off after making a trade, so I can regret everything at once
1. BITCOIN HAVE LIMITED QUANTITY, IN DIFFERENCE FROM TULIPS, DOLLARS AND Ethereum
2. GOLD EXACTLY SAME A PYRAMID SCHEME AS A BITCOIN BUT ALREADY ABSORB ALL IN
3. CURRENT CAPITALIZATION OF THE BITCOIN 35,788,210,511 USD
FOR EXAMPLE RUSSIAN BILLIONER ALISHER UZMANOV MAY BUY THE HALF OF ALL BITCOINS
USA MILITARY BUDGET - 611,000,000,000 USD
USA DEBT - 18,984,100,000,000 USD
GOLD IN THE WORLD 31553,2 TONS = 1,278,960,782,690 USD
BITCOIN SIMILAR TO GOLD FOR ACCUMULATION AND SIMILAR TO DOLLAR FOR MONEY TRANSFER
THE ONLY THING THAT PREVENTS THE BITCOIN FROM BECOMING A WORLD CURRENCY IS ITS LOW COST
AT THE PRICE OF 10,000,000 USD FOR 1 BITCOIN IT ALREADY CAN REPLACE DOLLARS
-----------------------------------
TYPICAL PROBLEM FOR BILLIONER: TO BUY APARTMENT FOR 15 YEARS ASIAN GIRLFREND
FOR EXAMPLE YOU - BILL GATES
YOU HAVE MONEY IN THE BANK
YOU CAN NOT DO ANYTHING WITH THIS MONEY, YOU CAN NOT TAKE TONS OF CASH. GOLD IS VISIBLE ON METAL DETECTORS AT THE AIRPORT
BEFORE PAYING SERIOUS MONEY, YOU NEED TO RECEIVE THE APPOINTMENT PERMISSION AND PAY THE TAXES
AND IF JOURNALISTS SEE WILL BE THE SCANDAL
WITH BITCOIN THERE IS NO PROBLEM
WITH BITCOIN ONLY PROBLEM IS BITCOIN LOW PRICE AND LOW BITCOIN AMOUNT IN INTERGENERAL ARBITRATION
-----------------------------
HERE IS THE DIAGRAM:
https://ibb.co/h8HDiF
BITCOIN PRICE WILL RISE, LIQUIDITY WILL INCREASE, APPLICATION WILL BE EXPANSIONED
THIS IS THE EGYPTIAN PYRAMID AND NEVER WILL BE RUINED

What does it mean OP? I sold at 3k and bought back in the 2,5k dip yesterday. You mean to tell me that it's gonna drop even more?
How are you guys going about tracking your assets, crypto and otherwise?
I was using GNUCash for tracking shares and income/expenses until I started getting into crypto and realised that GNUCash doesn't like dealing with non-ISO currencies. I then made the leap to the (somewhat autistic) `ledger` (http://ledger-cli.org) which deals very well with any sort of commodity or currency that you define yourself. No GUI though.
I'm also using an Excel sheet like pic-related to track each trade I make and the dates. Perhaps it is a bit redundant since I already track using the `ledger` program, but Excel makes stuff like asset allocation easier. I'm paranoid about being fucked by the tax office so I'm trying to keep as much information as I can about all my transactions.
How about you guys?
dude. nice portfolio.
>>2423606
I wish I could say it were mine. It's some anon's from like a week ago. I copied his spreadsheet design though, and it has good info on some coins.
>>2423545
I've just been memorizing everything. But it's been getting a bit harder to recall with my increased activity. Plus, with btc constantly moving around as much as it does i can't compare dollar value to Satoshi in my head because it's constantly different and i hate a margin of error over 1%
>>2423613
Do you happen to have a copy on google drive you can share so If i decide to use it I won't have to remake it?
Who else is on this train?
I just entered near the front, :) 88k sats
There is something wrong about this train.. I don't think that it even has brakes!

Did the crash finish?
I sold off all of BTC in hopes of buying the dip but my greed backfired as it turns out i sold at the bottom ($2500).If i buy back in right now i will lose about $200.Should i just buy ETH at this point?
>>2423497
eth is crashing right now.
Sit on your fucking hands and wait

I invested and I'm gonna make some profit. Wanna buy shitcoins, wait for them to multiply, then cash out. However if I actually cash out more than 650€ I will have to pay income tax. Which crypto do I buy to hold my profits? BTC? ETH?
>>2319945
>(((cashing out)))
WHY DO PEOPLE KEEP FALLING FOR THIS MEME?
>>2320020
What meme? Why wait for x20 for months when you can have 20x x2 in one month. Also I hope you do plan on cashing out. Unless you buy your lambo with stratis.
Hey /biz/ I'm new to the online currency scene.
Any idea how I could convert my Habbo Hotel credits from 12 years ago to fractions of a BTC or some other coin? I'm looking to get into some serious trading.
Anyone willing to accept bonds for bitcoins?
>>2423495
Theres actually sites where you can sell virtual game gold or game accounts for crypto.
I seen one person selling gaia items for btc with a couple sales
>>2423513
Is that a members-only gate?
>tfw sold ark before my precious bag holders took the huge hit
can't wait to buy back in with double the buying power this time.
>>2319943
Ahahahahahahahahah just got some people to hold my bags for me

>>2319812

Sorry, thats me dumping muh beans. Still have about 40,000,000 left. Dont let that scare you away though. HODL right fellas?
>>2319832
Bitbean never has ATH's, it just has brief periods of not being complete shit
Give me a cheap shitcoin to throw an extra $50 in and forget about. Thinking LDOGE or something like that.

Golem (GNT), 50$ will get you plenty.
