The only people exiting will be smaller players.
Larger players will rethink their strategies and avoid flash crashes by stacking lower levels with a few hundred dollar cheap buys.
On the plus side, this is a huge PR move to GDax which will pull a ton of people into the exchange. With all the shady shit around coins, GDax ends up as the only one to push for doing things positive for the user.
You may see dips, but expect when it takes off to take off quickly.
My guess is by tomorrow it'll be 335~ and climbing a bit until it spikes

Fucking biz took slandering other cryptos to a whole new level and made new investors wary. I had a co-worker had been showing some interest in crypto and was about to put some stock market gains in to trade with. Today I asked him how the application was going.
He said, I have been trying to research coins in the meantime and when I am verified I am not buying any coins. Every coin I looked at had an overwhelming amount of people calling it a scam. Even the really advanced coins."
Fucking great, fuck the bashers that hurt the ecosystem causing people to leave and never fucking look back.
This guy used to talk about the tech for the last few weeks, and suddenly its all "scam this, and scam that"
Everyone here assumes the amount of money to roll into crypto is infinite, but you cause people to fucking completely and permanently discredit it.
Bashing is not as beneficial as people think because it might suppress the price of a coin, it may cause people to cash the fuck out.
Look at Bancor for example, if it had Ico'd a month earlier it would have had many hundreds of millions pumping it, the gains would have been spread around the market pumping other coins in turn, but no, now new money it fucking terrified.

I waited and waited and then dumped my bags yesterday for DCR. I gave it some time but the risk of the giveaway fucking with the price is too great. 16 billion is no joke.
Also, I don't want to be invested in a coin where the dev team are complete retards that are happy to scam the people that actually invested in their coin. I had a huge position in this coin and I'm at peace if it moons. I'll look for opportunity elsewhere

Coinbase won't let Canadians withdraw money into their bank account. This was never brought to my attention when I was signing up and depositing money. This is a pain in the ass. I'm going to have to transfer my funds to a site that will let me withdraw.

QuadrigaCX. Works for Canadians, is a Canadian exchange, based in Vancouver and Toronto. Lots of withdrawal options, and easy to work with.
Another option is Coinsquare, but never used them personally, their UI is shit.
I had the same issue as you, so now I just buy using Coinbase and xFer to QCX when I want to cash out, otherwise my stuff is all on Bittrex or in cold storage (Exodus).
