When is this shit finally going to be activated??
It won't, Chinese miners will pull out at the last minute and switch to BCC as a big fuck you to Blockstream.
>>2979658
tomorrow the vote passes to "lock in" segwit, then another 2016 blocks (2 weeks) to activate it.
>>2979822
where can I monitor the vote, and what time UTC does it happen?
>$3385
Hands getting a bit shaky, boys
>>2979656
Go rent a shack on an island for a month and come back rich.
why? at this point my brain considers BTC to be real money. the USD amount barely registers. all I care about is upping my BTC stack via alts.
>>2979670
Yeah honestly I stopped caring about the value of BTC a long time ago. BTC is just a volatile currency now. Real money is made in shitcoins like SIGT
AHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!
Good stuff.

Can't wait till it hits 1 sat!
This coin is a joke. The redd id will only give it a momentary boost (and will be your last chance to sell bags). The fact that you have to pay for a subscription to the devs to use an ID (that's just blockchain address replacer) is ridiculous. No one will use this, no marketing doesn't help either, like at all.
The devs are doing a pretty good job steering this coin into a wall after the initial push.
I'll be dropping my bags as soon as the next pump (if it ever comes).
does this even work anymore?
>>2979397
Nope. Been waiting 5 weeks for tier 1 verification.
>>2979397
I've got tier 3
>>2979397
Yeah, thanks to them I was able to dump 1.75 BCC at 550$
Let's go through coins that actual have a functional use and real world users. No buzzword vaporware allowed. I'll start.
Bitcoin
>store of value
>decentralized, deflationary currency
>adopted by select retailers, can be used to buy things
>currently seen as the gold standard backing other cryptocurrencies
1ST
GUP
Doge coin, trump coin
>store of value
>decentralized, deflationary currency
Black market anon coins like ZEC, XMR are likewise used to buy things.
Other than that, it gets pretty hard.
I guess ETH / ETC
>enable easy ICO scams
>online casinos with odds that can be mathematically validated
almost 45% of ALL volume is Signatum.
https://coinmarketcap.com/exchanges/cryptopia/
crazy
Signatum is unstoppable.
I'm tired, I sold my stack at 3875, I know SIGT is a long term hold but I don't wanna wake up at a loss, don't moon without me bros.
Hey guys , am currently a student , before Aug 1 I was holding 80% of my networth in btc , on July 29 I sold half of my btc for usd cause the situation looked uncertain ,was that a stupid move ? Having that big % of my networth in btc was putting a lot stress on me.
Dont bump your own thread
How do u buy Btc from outside time US.
Are there reliable wallets or apps for non Americans ?
>>2979042
You cashed out during what could be a bubble; good idea.
Is this the shittiest site ever or am I just sitting in my own shit?
>>2979022

Nah i fucking hate it, clunky and vile.
We need SIGT on Bittrex, already
Y'all ready for this?

>>2979021
WE ARE THE LITEMARINES
how does it feel bagholding this for 3 years only to see 0 gains
>>2979125
This. Litecoin was $51 a few years ago. It's literally just a test-coin for Bitcoin.
Those saying otherwise are delusional.
Bancor is literally unstoppable.
at losing value? yes.
and i'm a bag holder.
>>2978903
easily touches $4 today.
>>2979023
>implying
it's been going steadily up for 4 days now.
Say it with me: UNSTOPPABLE
According to the 10 page memo Google is full of SJWs, and is putting women and non whites in positions they're not qualified for.
Lowering company morale and causing the real talent (white and oriental males) to leave.
When company's hire African-American or women ceos in the name of diversity it ends up with the stock crashing (McDs, Yahoo)
After reading the 10 page memo is it time to open a short?
It will take a few more months for this to take effect, I think. Google has too much inertia, in my opinion, to drop right this fucking moment. A long short though is probably a good bet, though.
You don't need top talent to do maintenance work. All the innovative stuff google is doing has no diversity hires.
>>2978876
This isn't unusual at all, I work at United Technologies, they're doing the same thing. They've already announced their plan to fill 50 percent of all manager/supervisor positions with women. I've seen them promote and fill positions without putting up an announcement for other employees to apply internally.
They've also started pushing for blacks which has become counter productive. In an attempt to hire african american diversity candidates to help with "muh slavery" Ive been seeing more black engineers. Funny part is, most of them are on visas from Nigeria or the UK. But that still makes the African American right?!
I bought bitbeans at 470 sats. When will I go to the moon
you own beans, you're already on the moon
>>2978825
never
its a shitcoin with a shitty logo
>>2978825
oh my god op i feel so sorry for you. post your sigt wallet and ill send you some (not-OP need not apply)
If you missed out on NEO, then there's still time to get in on NEO GAS
>NEO GAS is used like ether
>need GAS to actually deploy contracts
>16 million market cap
>traded on binance and once it hits bittrex it will moon
>normies are slowly finding out about it on reddit
>only 100 million created over 22 years meaning its even more scarce than NEO shares
GET IN QUICK BEFORE YOU MISS THE TRAIN
VOLUME IS RISING QUICKLY
>it takes 22 years for 1 NEO to create 1 GAS
>gets harder over time. It's the most obvious buy right now
im warning you biz you will cry when you miss the rocket
last bump. only the smart investors will listen
I know 90% of /biz/ is bitcoin/altcoin related right now, but I'm hoping at least some of you are involved in the real economy.
is this bubble ever going to fucking burst? I was late to the game asset wise during the last crash and am really hoping to buy up some cheap commodities, like land, when the next one hits
>>2978774
What should i do when the bubble does burst? Buy a house? Ihave 80 grand saved up
>>2978774
I feel it coming, that's why I switched all into crypto. $ constantly dropping in value was the biggest sign to me. This or next year, I expect a "crash". Shit just can't go up all the time.
>>2978781
stocks are always good if you're in it for the long run
Some of my stocks have made 40% gains in the last year. on 80k investments that $32k in passive income...
