http://blog.ptsecurity.com/2017/08/cobalt-group-2017-cobalt-strikes-back.html

>Of the companies targeted by Cobalt in phishing mailings, around 75 percent are in the financial sector. Most of these financial companies are banks (90%), but others include financial exchanges, investment funds, and lenders. This widening range of targets suggests that attacks on diverse companies with major financial flows are underway. This concurs with the forecast made by the FinCERT of the Russian Central Bank, which predicted increased interest by cybercriminals in financial exchanges in 2017.

>By attacking a financial exchange, the Cobalt group can "pump" or "dump" stocks, incentivizing purchase or sale of shares in certain companies in a way that causes rapid fluctuations in share price. Stock manipulation can affect not just the welfare of a single company, but the economy of entire countries. These methods were employed by the Corkow group in their 2016 attack on Russia's Energobank, which caused a 15-percent change in the exchange rate of the ruble and caused bank losses of RUB 244 million (over USD 4 million).

is this the REAL way to make money? Not fucking buying meme coins?

This isn't legal.
>>
>>3003555
Let's be honest, what is really legal these days besides wagecucking?
>>
>>3003592
Lots of things. You're far too stupid to be a part of anything like this (other than to be a mule) if you actually believe the only legal way to make money is to work for someone else

I've got 20k of freshly bought overpriced btc in my wallet. I'm going to hold 10 and the other 10 i want to distribute between some alt coins to hodl for a year and hopefully be happily surprised, I haven't got the time (or stress levels) to be panicking every time something dips. Some risky and some not would be good!

Any tips?

Only BTC+ETH are not risky.

Everything else you risk to lose it all.

"Don't listen to /biz" they say, yet it seems like biz is always right recently thank you for the gas gains <3

Pro tip: if you can differentiate between shill pajeets who are trying to get their bags sold and real solid advice that is backed up by research you can do yourself you'll make alot of money listening to /biz

>biz is always right recently

Biz is right about trends that you can see at any other platform, correct.
But desu. it does so quite slowly.

"Pro tip" would be to socialize with other professionals and get into chats where informations dont need to be filtered to dont fall for fud/shilling first.
>>
Generally when you see a bunch of threads for the same coin in a short amount of time it's from people who bought weeks or months ago getting ready to dump and you can jump on and off quickly for some bux.

If it's a single thread that pops up once a day or every two days it's for a dead coin that some pajeet bought at it's peak.
>>
Join the biz telegram group. We will kindly separate fud from shill for you! After all, we are stronger as a collective!

I know regular lambos are vulnerable to depreciation, but what if the lambo is then given a coating made of very stable metal? Then the lambo is protected from the depreciation and may start to appreciate, correct?

Never a bad thing to take profits anon. Have you heard of hindsight bias? You didn't KNOW it would continue climbing, no sense in feeling like a mistake was made now especially after gaining 100%.
The biggest mistake you can make in trading is getting greedy although that sounds like shit it's true. The old saying goes, bulls & bears profit but pigs get slaughtered.
Hypothetical scenario: In at 150. Watch it go to 300, decide that's not enough for you. Wait for it to hit 500 or 600. Change in trend - hits 400 and takes a break. Still holding waiting for 500. Now it loses steam and begins descending again. Now maybe it's at 250. You missed some gains because you held out for a price that never happened.
Shorting the high is always an option too if you want to profit on both sides of the movement.

Be me.
To save up for a new bathtub, my family and I would put our spare change into a 2 Litre bottle. When this had about $70 in it, I decided (Without my mothers permission) to convert it into Bitcoin. I sent the 0.147 ฿ to an Address on a Paper wallet, which I then put back into the bottle. This way, it wouldn't look like I stole it.

The bottle was kept in my older sisters room (Who happens to be Deaf), so when she wanted to know where the money went, I tried to explain to her that it was now on the piece of paper.

Skip forward about a year later, I ask her where the little slip of paper in the bottle went. She'd thrown it away, thinking it was rubbish.

Today, it would've been worth about $600.

green is buy orders

red is sell orders

sell orders needs to be filled before it can go up

if buy orders gets filled, it'll go down

however, this is only active buy and sell orders, it doesn't account for stop limits, and bots can remove and set up these walls easily

if you want to predict anything, dont look at the order book, look at the candle chart, 3 or 5 hours, and the volume, and see the patterns

thats all i know tbqh DESU

You see this fucker here /biz/?

I have it on good information that this fucker is fixing to pump, hard. People are going crazy over all of the masternode coins and this one is a sure ticket to the moon. As I speak, the volume is rising and the whales are accumulating to take this to 10-20k sats.

You don't want to be on the ground when the moon lambo takes off, do you, /biz/?
