Alright guys this thread is very different from my usual crypto threads. I posted this earlier but I got no responses, so I'm trying again.
I'm currently 21 with 1 year left of university (UK). Studying computer science, focusing on security and blockchain shit would you believe. I want to work in America so I've been applying to loads of companies based in New York - mostly financial institutions big and small.
Obviously getting jobs in America as a non-citizen and non-resident is extremely difficult so I need skills that will help me stand out.
Being a computer scientist I obviously program pretty well - Assembly, C, Javascript, SQL and Solidity (smart contracts nigga).
I'm trilingual would you believe - Am a quarter japanese so I speak Japanese and I've taken Russian language classes for 2 years now at university - I'm pretty good at it.
So aside from being experienced with various languages and speaking various languages, what others skills could I aquire that would be useful/desirable for American companies?
I don't know anything specific about applying for jobs in another countries, but you probably know enough do to typical jobs writing code. Just do two or three projects related to whatever you wanna do, learn a bit about typical interview technical questions and lie on your resume a reasonable amount. Something you wanna be interested is an internship for university students while you're in the UK if you can find it. You should have no trouble finding jobs independently of the country

stop dreaming, not gonna happen. your best bet is to get a job in the uk with offices in america, keep your nose clean and ask nicely for a transfer two or three years in.
no matter how impressive you think your cv is, nobody is going to go through the h1b lottery just for you, and the indian IT companies that hoard the applications already have millions of pajeets back in india queuing.
h1b only allow 65k visas for people outside the US, and 20k for people already in the US extending their previous h1b or leaving graduate studies. but all 85k places are selected by chance in a lottery where the first day all are already gone first week of april.
assuming someone is willing to help you, they would need to apply for the april 2018 lottery, and assuming you are lucky enough to win a place, that visa is for 2019.

Agreed with this Anon. At least get sone office experience in the UK first. Have you had any internships/co-ops during summers?

Hey anon,
I know its been a pretty bumpy road so far... keep holding on. For those of you who decided to betray the only true bitcoin (BCC), you will be slaughtered in the next 48 hours ... and to be honest, you deserve everything you get...
Satoshi has provided us with the tools to eliminate 3rd parties and create economies circumventing governments and "trust" - but BTCsegwit has perverted his vision out of some sort of greed/fear.
bitcoin currently costs $270 USD - make no mistake about it.
2/5ths of BTCs entire market cap is about to be dumped into BCC by about 7 individuals.
See you on the other side anon.

You must hate money if you still haven't invested in EuropeCoin. It is the future of European cryptocurrencies.
>but muh PnD screenshots
these screenshots are obvious photoshops from Litecoin hodlers who want to discredit europecoin. Don't be fooled by that con artist.
Give me your honest short and long-term assessment of SNT, /biz/.
It's currently at a decent low, so I think I might buy in right about now.
Status will be huge. They are a Bancore partner for a reason because they're here to stay
A decentralized messenger is not needed. Definitely not one that needs a currency to survive. It'll probably max out around a 500m cap then go into limbo when people realize no one is using it
the messenger is meant for the normies you dog we just rip their money
FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT

What if AI achieves singularity and figures out a way to crack strong crypto using our existing technology?

If AI achieves singularity, the last of your worries will be crypto.
