Why the FUCK are international shortwave radio broadcasters ceasing their broadcast towards the US/Canada?! SERIOUSLY ALL I CAN GET IN THE US ARE SHITTY RELIGIOUS SHORTWAVE STATIONS. Do these European and Asian broadcasters think North America doesnt care about other cultures and news from the other countries of the world. Because we fucking do! Don't they know that radio is a HELL of a lot more efficient than the internet that could go out at any time during a storm? Why aren't you broadcasting to us anymore?!! Why?! Why?! WHYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!

Do you have an idea of the power
bill to operatea 100kw transmitter?
Plus shitty propagation because of solar minimum.
i'd recommend upgrading your antenna and putting a directional one, inserting an antenna tuner in the feed line.

How do you even direct a one-way hf transmission? Seems like even modern ale-equipped ssb radios rely 90% on trial and error.

magnetic loops are good because they are somewhat resistant to electric field (source of RFI)
