Unless you are a weeaboo neet that sits in his room in his parents house all day and owns a bodypillow, there is no reason
>>2185069
Trust me when I say NOTHING
>>2185069

It's fucking trash stop watching moeshit pleb
>>2185112

>>2185112
I'm a neet, more or less. I have a lot of spare time.
I'm already wasting my life so why shouldn't I waste it watching cute anime girls?
>>2185236
>not liking cute girls
only steers and queers come from texas, private cowboy
>>2185078

>>2185069
Its good for shitposting and making other users on /bant/ angry cause anime.
>>2185069
Seriously, for no reason if you don't care. I have watched it a bit but I don't follow it.
It is as far as I understand, an anime/game based multimedia reality show. Up to a certain extent, I would call Vocaloid and Touhou project kinda same.
These kind of "virtual" shows will become more and more of a thing. I honestly think it's probably a good thing to be aware about their nature and what's going on. Ok?
>>2185666
What are you saying Suomisatan? It's an anime reality show? How does that work?
>>2185715
If you haven't seen it, you should watch an episode of "Tesagure! Bukatsu-mono". About half of each episode is unscripted and it's easily the funniest anime I've ever seen.
឴>>2185771
Thanks for the suggestion. What is it about?
>>2185715
>How does that work?
We are talking about Japanese culture here. They are almost peerless with their cellphone culture and with their portable console culture. I was there back in late 90's when Nokia was still there. Virtual reality show as a concept of entertainment was already back then thrown in the air.
We here in the West tend to skip the backstory when we play games. We just want the action. Not in Japan. The backstory there can be even more important than the game part, and the producers know it. The closest of this we are doing here are the Star Wars and Star Trek.
Now, imagine if the franchise you are attracted to becomes really an essential part of your daily routine. In your device, anytime, anywhere. We are talking about the ultimate form of social media which at the moment lacks only the full 3D experience.
That's what they are up to. People living in a story. Anywhere, anytime.
>>2185069
Dont watch it.
>>2185797
Anal prolapse
>>2185892
Sounds kinda cool, honestly.
>>2185534
I was being unironic though. Things are bad when people are assuming everything has a layer of irony by default. Authenticity is dead
>>2185797
It's about a club where they sit around and make fun of manga/anime tropes about other clubs, then each voice actor comes up with their own idea for some version of the club being discussed and that's the unscripted part. After watching hundreds of hours of anime it's really refreshing to hear a natural conversation. The episodes are only 12 minutes long, once you see one you'll get the picture.
it's only good for the hentai

Do you remember Tamagotchi? If you don't, Google it. Anyway, you were 24/7 attached to it to take care of it. There were even hotels and other such services where you could leave it under expert care. Ok, the fad died but the idea definitely didn't.
Imagine you having your device cheering you up and encouraging you in your workplace where no real person does that.
>okay okay guys, gimme 15 minutes so i can finish this report
>yaa, ganbatteee
After 15 minutes
>yattaa, but, how did it gooo?
>I had some trouble here and there
>anoo, did you try this, or this, or thisss?
Thanks to social media based coding picking up things shared online, the virtual reality will give you even more ideas, if not even an entire framework how to do your job.
And you are still inside that same cute reality show that talks to you when any other real person around you hardly notices you.
