=>Don’t trust people, only trust people to do what they do. Watch actions, not words. Everybody is selfish, it just so happens we are designed to need social validation, it’s in our own best interest to “selfless” sometimes. Everybody has motives, whether they realize it or not, understanding people’s motives is key to understanding people.

People assume it’s complicated, in explanation of why it has evaded them for so long (protecting ego). People also say the opposite to take advantage of others.
