Any European anons know how to get pre-Euro currency? Either banknotes or coins, and I've looked and nobody around has them.

I still, or rather my parents still have quite some Guldens, they are the pre-euro dutch currency. We might also still have some old German, and Belgian currency laying around but I am not sure about that.
As for how to obtain it, there are plenty of people who have been collecting coins, and you are sure to find some if you look on garage sales here. Most people traded their old currency for new currency when the euro hit the market.

Wew I heard of plenty of people that kept a few of our notes around but I doubt they'd be interested in ditching it

The only currency that is "pre-Euro" that I happen to have is a 10 Franc and a 1 Franc coin I got from my uncle.

I also want the banknotes though, they look cool imo
