Excellent world building, characters, atmosphere. It's very strong from a guided narrative point of view if you like the sort of game that's very plot driven and heavy on dialogue.
Trails in the Sky is another game I'd consider similar to FFIX from that perspective. Both are games with a very slow and measured tempo trying to immerse you rather than entertain you with action.

Most normies start and end their jrpg gaming with Pokemon and FF.

>Persona 3 came out in like 2006, wasn't that popular? I played it a bit.
I didn't think so from the sites I read and people I spoke to but I was still transitioning from being a normie back then. Atlus games back then took a long time to reach europe as well which didn't help.

Yeah, I've been aiming to be in bed before 1 every weeknight at the moment, but over the past few weeks I've been watching anime before bed and I'm liable to falling into the "one more episode" trap.
>Think you could stay up at the weekend if you just came off the thread a bit earlier during the week.
Not really. I have trouble sleeping during the weeknights regardless of when i go to bed, so I'm wrecked on the weekends regardless. I'm hoping to fix that by nailing down a sleep schedule.
>How many hours do you get a night?
For the past 2 weeks I've been getting 4 hours on average Sunday-Thursday, but it's very broken sleep.

Same here this week since I started watching again. Started watching Kakegurui.
>have trouble sleeping during the weeknights regardless of when i go to bed
It always takes me nearly an hour to fall asleep, unless it is like 4am. I've been like that since I've been young though, as far as I can recall. Always tossing and turning in bed.

I usually get to sleep pretty quickly, and have broken sleep until about 6am, after which I don't get back to sleep at all. I'd be happy with 6 hours of solid sleep, but I haven't been able to get that when I want it since I was in France. That said, I rarely availed of it in France, but I'm much busier at work now than I was then so I'm really feeling the lack of sleep.

Referendum to change it to Pan Paka Pan when?
Someone is watching a movie with high volume and the livingroom is right under my bedroom
I just want to sleep fuggggg

>wanting nighttime threads to be even deader
Well only during the weekdays. During the weekend we should encourage late night posting.
>encourage people to stay up by hosting a livestream of Podge and Rodge episodes
Not sure if I would watch them but I might be interested in a live stream of some other description.
>don't have any pictures of Poi
Well played.

>Someone is watching a movie with high volume
I know your pain. I sometimes wake up to people next door playing eerie music in the middle of the night.

Could help to have something to discuss during /marbh/ times but then you run the risk of people posting in the stream chat instead of the thread.
>Well played.
Also considered saying Graf but he's going to bed now. Might be worth it if he woke up in the morning and saw the post and couldn't respond back.

>bowing to the wageslaves
>not contributing to the Irish economy
I expected nothing less from someone of your character.
>run the risk of people posting in the stream chat instead of the thread
I'm sure you could find platforms that allowed you to disable it, or just have an agreement not to respond to those who do post in it.
Of course that brings into context the larger question of posting outside the thread. Not sure we should all blindly subscribe to this idea of the "the thread reigns supreme".
If we are all off enjoying ourselves watching a stream and chatting away using the stream chat, so be it. Our happiness is what's important.
Not to say we should just abandon the thread and setup some sort of Skype cabal. It's important that anyone can come to the thread, know what we are doing, and join in if they wish.
>Also considered saying Graf
Don't need to mention her, we already know she is a hoor without it being pointed out.

The economy doesn't real.

Eh I don't like the idea of causing the thread to go /marbh/ because we all left for a while. I suppose anyone can join a stream so it's not like there are those that can't join, except phoneposting scum of course who deserve to be excluded.
>we already know she is a hoor
Good point. Really calls his taste in women into question. Considering he likes Rin from Idolm@ster too, who is also a massive slag.
>always wanted to go to some sort of convention
>first try was Gamercon back in March
>took forever to get in, was constantly getting felt up by queers and never had enough space to do anything
Are there any good conventions happening over the summer?

I'm going to head off a bit earlier tonight. See you tomorrow, or in a few months etc.
Oíche mhaith.
>except phoneposting scum of course who deserve to be excluded
Completely agree.
>Considering he likes Rin from Idolm@ster too, who is also a massive slag
I've never watched any of those Idol shows, though I assume they are all sleuths?
>>1429167
>was constantly getting felt up by queers
Sounds terrible.
>>1429167
Cons aren't great really. Everything's overpriced to shit and you feel pressured to buy something.

>I'm going to head off a bit earlier tonight
I'd judge but I'm feeling sleepy too.
>See you tomorrow, or in a few months etc.
I'm always around.
>I've never watched any of those Idol shows
You're missing out.
>I assume they are all sleuths?
Depends on the girl.
barely able to keep my eyes open, sitting in front of my pc with a cup of tea listening to some beatles
