Can someone recommend (cheap) multiplayer game for older pc ?

Path of exile... Free and awesome. Only ever played solo but grouping up is an option

Pretty sure you can party run the campaign and end game. As I said, have only played solo but for a totally free game this meets your budget concerns and gives group/party play. And is fkin awesome.

Guild wars 2 base game is free and theoretically you could earn enough gems to buy the expansions. Not sure how it'll run on your build tho. Also MUDs.
