I'm a white guy who became Muslim. Muslims are fine as long as they observe the faith and live a simple, daily life. Islam at its core welcomes people to be people, but asks Muslims to try and remember God in their lives through their words and actions.

It's when Muslims start letting culture from their backwards-ass forefathers seep into how they act that shit really hits the fan. When they can't just stick to the source material and start making Islam fanfiction about what they think Muhammad really meant, even though he didn't live that at all. You had to pay for the journey across the world and risk your whole life on the belief that you could build a new life for yourself there. That's the sort of thing an ambitious and driven person would do. Hence America filled up with driven people, motivated to work hard knowing they would keep most of the fruits of their labour. I used to go smoking with a couple of bosnian kids I grew up playing bandy with in rosengården when i was a teenager. I haven't been there these last 10 years though that's true. I am not blind, I just do not buy into hyperbole and nordfront propaganda. There are problems in sweden, stemming from a housing crisis and a huge disparity between the richest and poorest that has been widening for the last 20 years. The influx of refugees and immigrants put a certain burden on our system but it is blown out of proportion by those with a certain ideologically motivated political agenda. It's hardly something new in the gran scheme of things, but with high youth unemployment and a housing crisis in the big cities I understand why angry young men disillusioned with their lot in life seek a scapegoat to blame.

The labour movements of the early 1900's (something i forgot ot mention earlier) also took a strong root in sweden and now our Unions control large aspects of our working conditions, our pay, our incentives and our pensions, welfare and so on. The swedish unions have in comparison to other european countries a lot more power over the workforce.
