/x/ is always good for a laugh, lots of conspiracy nuts and maniacs to be amazed at. Just don't take it seriously, and treat it like a sci-fi novel. It can be entertaining sometimes.
/tv/ can be good, but it's 99% Game of Thrones lately so it's fucking shit right now.
/v/ if you like gaming.
/adv/ is also good for a laugh, but sometimes you'll find yourself having genuinely good conversations.

That's about it for my favourites, though I visit others from time to time.

/b/ is one of the most boring and worst boards here now, other than all the anime faggotry. And You'll probably hear about /pol/ but I tend to stay away from their too, now, because just like /b/, it's the same regurgitated shit over and over again.

Not sure what happened in the recent years. I'm thinking it became an "edgy" website to kids and they started ruining the boards. Reddit probably also has a hand in it. Ten or so years ago it was decent, unique.
