What are you drinking tonight /b/?
General alcohol thread.
>>744680543
i am drinking Hennessy Cognac
>>744680543
good ole heineken
>>744680809
Nice choice man. I need to get some hennessy.
>>744680951
Don't you like IPA's?
>>744680543
>>744681096
Looks nice anon. Never seen it before, is it aged at all?
Am too poor to buy more premium spirits, i quite like this one
>>744681074
I do like an IPA, but I dont have any at home
>>744681192
Still a nice drink anon. A lot of whisky drinkers tonight I see.
>>744681309
Not a big fan of Heineken. What % is it at now?
It's aight
>>744681402
You the op of the last drink thread? How much of your bottle you got left?
>>744681467
most of it, but i will get to it now..
>>744681096
Master race
drinking 3 things tonight;
tincup whiskey - my first bottle and its pretty good
spytail ginger rum from france - i mix it with ginger ale - very refreshing drink
plantation's oftd overproof rum with coke - get me there
got a tin of stones bitter
it's pretty shit tbh
>>744680543
box of red wine. KEK
Stella artois here. as long as it gets me drunk am I right?
>>744681486
Looks very nice anon.
>>744681504
Come on bro, you're slacking!
>>744681570
Ah, better than I thought. Always thought it was at 4%.
>>744681663
Nice. Couldn't mix my drinks like that though.
>>744681708
Stones is a great drink taste wise. Just doesn't have much of a kick alcohol wise.
>>744681725
What brand?
>>744681169
10 years in american oak, its an entry level scotch
Its a bit lighter than I'd hoped compared to laphroaig quarter cask but still has that lovely iodine seawater Islay signature.
>>744681663
why three things? mixing several things usually makes me more hungover the next day, unless its mixing alcohol and beers, then its alright
>>744681708
the real question is.. is it THE shit?
>>744681776
Depends how drunk you are anon.
>>744681787
How much does it sell for? I might have to pick a bottle up.
>>744681829
Not as much by now as I thought I would be really. Not a massive beer drinker, get all aggressive on it. Not actually a Stella fan either really but it was there at the time I guess. Have a good night anon
Nothing.
Drank every night this week so far.
Debating going and getting something but I'm down to my last £10.
>>744681898
I get aggressive when I have too much, that's why I'm in the house and the wife's in bed.
>>744681935
Bill's paid, got food in? When's your next payday?
Bottle's almost empty though. May need to improvise the rest of my evening.
>>744681829
it was 30 English pounds excluding import duty to Germany.
I would recommend the quarter cask over this though and it's only a couple of quid more.
Failing that the 16 year Lagavulin is around the same price and is stunning.
>>744682088
Cheers anon. I'll look into it them definitely. The 16 year Lagavulin sounds nice.
>>744681776
Stella is Belgian for Bud. It's for quantity not quality. Not that that's a bad thing. I drink vodka for quantity and a good single malt scotch or Booker's for quality.
>>744681798
>>>744681663
>why three things? mixing several things usually makes me more hungover the next day, unless its mixing alcohol and beers, then its alright
thats part of my problem...i never get hungover. I wake up the next morning just fine. I know ive been bad when the wife askes me..."do you know what you did last night?"..nope.
>>744682316
I love that stuff!
>>744682214
>The 16 year Lagavulin sounds nice.
I've got a bottle sitting on my shelf and can attest to it's quality.
>>744682222
Never been a massive fan of Stella in general honestly, aftertaste is horrid, but then I wouldn't count it as a bad drink. I should get some Whiskey in really, been a few months
>>744680543
wow dalmore nice, got a johnny walker red gifted to me...well, better than nothing I guess
Drinking a bottle of Hobgoblin right now, have 3 more bottles left and a bottle of Vodka from Aldi.
Had a few shots of the vodka and it's really not bad for the price.
>>744682950
Whats the vodka like from Aldi? heard a lot of good things about cheap spirits from Aldi/Lidls.
>>744682950
Disregard, I completely didnt notice the second sentence.
>>744682524
Thanks anon. Think I'll be getting a bottle soon.
>>744682887
Yeah I really love a bottle every now and then. I really don't make it last though, I'm terrible. Last week I had morrisons own blend whiskey, around £12 for 700ml. Definitely not the best but wasn't too bad.
Here's a question for you anons, the past year or so (3rd Year Uni student checking in) I have noticed if I have a heavy drinking session, the next day I have a horrible migraine, this isn't normal right?
>>744683240
It's called a hangover lad.
Now this is a serious beer.
>>744683453
Headache I would understand, but a migraine too? the more you know.
>>744682887
I disagree. Nothing is definitely better than johnny Walker red.
All alcohol is the fucking same you dimwits.
Shake it up with one of the other thousand substances you can get high with ... if you have the wit and the connections.
Which you don't.
>>744680543
Making my way through the Irish ranks
It's a relatively smooth one, nothing too remarkable
>>744683552
haha might be so!
Takka
>>744683453
Yep. But don't take migraine meds. They contain acetaminophen which will fuck with your liver along with the alcohol.
>>744683534
You've never had a Migraine. Otherwise you'd not be drinking.
They literally, not figuratively, make you want to die.
As the poster above says, you have a hangover.
>>744683611
Get yourself a nice single malt scotch.
Just bought the Dalmore for my friends birthday
>>744683870
You have one lucky friend anon.
>>744683856
What do you think the difference is between Irish whiskey and scotch whisky except location?
>>744683993
Scotch is the best in the world, in my opinion. Can't beat a good aged single malt.
Downing this. Gf is being an annoying cunt so I don't give a fuck about sex tonight. Gonna go full on whisky dick.
Thinking of a cigar too to go with the Dalmore. Not got many left though, which should I pick?
Cheap Amaretto mixed with root beer
>>744684196
Nice choice anon. Feeling jealous right now!
>>744684214
Romeo Y Julieta, standard proved method, good but not too good, works for a regular occasion
>>744684331
Yeah, you're right. I was going to go for the filthy hooligan, I know it's a cheap cigar and doesn't really pair with a Dalmore, but I do love the candela wrapping.
>>744684055
Scotch from where?
An Islay is very different to a speyside for example (Laphroig\Dalwhinnie).
The thing that defines scotch is its Protected designation of origin, not its distillation process.
Irish whiskey is distilled in the same way using the same ingredients but lacks the PDO.
Also, Ageing is not a definition of quality. Even the shittiest Scotch must be aged 8 years to be labelled so.
>>744684711
True, but a brand like Dalmore or glenmorange are always a good, proven quality drink. Taste is subjective so what one person loves another might hate. It's more a journey finding what you personally like.
>>744683745
forgot pic
>>744684840
Take your scam site elsewhere anon.
>>744684844
Looks lethal anon.
>>744684196
Ever tried the tailfire? Its the blend from the aged casks and is fucking tasty.
>>744684823
Following this logic, jamesons is also a proven drink and is for sure better than Glenmorangie which is the Bud of whisky
>>744684696
post pic when you light it with the cedar
>>744681779
winking owl
$7 at aldi
>>744685078
True, jamesons is a great brand. It's just personal preference at the end of the day.
I tried some of pic related once when a friend had his first born, and it was just.. Out of this world. Expensive though.
>>744681663
If you like Tincup then that's great. I tried it though and after some research it's not quite what they advertise. It's contract distilled in Chicago or someplace THEN they cut it to proof with Colorado water.
>>744685291
Not bad anon. Taste good?
>>744680543
drinking in the sweet aroma of your mothers cunt
GET
ON
MUH
LELVEL
>>744683856
I am fond of a few areas of Scotch as well, there are definitely excellent Scotches out there.
Currently I'm taking a dip into the Irish ones though
>>744685800
Nothing wrong with Irish. They do some fantastic Irish ones out there. I'm always partial to a JD even though I know it's awful.
>>744680543
I just made my first drink of the night a few minutes ago.
Poorfag here, Just miller lite.
Barnettes vodka cheapest I can find. 1 litre in. Long distance relationship. Cucked.
Drink Jack Daniels like your dead beat father would you pleb
help me decide
Coors light, niggas
>>744685362
i've had better, but it's not terrible
>>744688623
The Glenrothes.
against Glenfiddich there's not even a question
cheers to crippling alcoholism
idk
>>744682222
checked
>>744689615
Oh dear, you must be illiterate.
The bottles in that picture are "Hennessy Black, and "Dalmore 18yr".
You're welcome you poor thing.
>>744689615
Nice selection anon. I've drank a lot of Dalmore tonight so I'd recommend that, it's a great drink.
>>744689893
here's the rest par 1/x
>>744689893
2/x
>>744689914
>owes it's unique sweetness
It's not yet another ridiculously over sweetened whiskey is it?
>>744689893
3/x
>>744689893
4/x
>>744689893
5/x
>>744690048
>>744690073
You've a nice little collection there. Drink the Dalmore tonight. I love how you have southern comfort, mass produced but well respected, it's a brilliant cheap drink.
>>744689893
6/x
That's all
>>744690208
>southern comfort
Its nice mixed with drink that already uses Curacao
>>744680543
>What are you drinking tonight /b/?
>General alcohol thread.
Here's what I'd like to be drinking.
>>744690213
The 18yo glenlivet, how does that taste? An anon mentioned it to me earlier and I really want to try it, fancy taking a sip and telling me what it's like?
>>744690295
I'm the same anon responding to you. Southern comfort is nice straight, that's the main thing it has over over whiskies at a same price point.
>>744689831
low quality bait or next level autism
>>744690338
I'm intrigued, can you tell me more about this whisky?
>>744690342
Its very nice but hard to tell the difference between the 15yo and 18yo unless you have proper glass (to taste the aromas). I recently discovered after buying a Bowmore12yo that I prefer somked scotch rather than fruitty ones.
>>744690659
Add: It's worth buying it since it is not very expensive. Great price/quality
>>744690092
It's sort of 2 drinks in one. Smoky when room temp, but once been in the freezer for 10 mins it's extremely mild and quite sweet
>>744690659
I'll still take the 18 because I can afford to, and I have the glasses to taste them. I've never tried the glenlivet but I want to give it a try because it seems like a cheaper "premium" drink to the rest.
>>744690415
agreed
>>744681096
This but just the ten year
>>744690855
It's a flavoured whisky, it's available everywhere, but it gets you drunk but its also easy to drink. I'll only sing it praises, it's a lovely drink.
>>744690976
This is the ten year, according to the op.
>>744691006
and so damn cheap
>>744691079
Yeah, it's so easily accessible, maybe that's why it's such a good drink. You'll get drunk if you drink it correctly, but if you're a sipper with a cigar. It also fits in.
>>744691099
This while smoking an Andy Stixx Cigaro-log
>>744691069
there is a very nice standard 10 year old.
the Select is a 10 year old blend from maturation in various cask types.
the good stuff
>>744691274
Don't get me wrong, it's a lovely drink. I could drink it all day. It's very nice for a standard.
>>744691333
A lovely choice anon. You'll fit in tonight, it's a very whiskey related thread.
i choose this guy XD

>>744691442

>>744691596
Where can I buy this and how much does it cost?
>>744691626

>>744691683
Very nice. How much of if have you drank?
