I'm not contradicting myself. The only thing I care about is death because it's the only absolute in the universe. Everything is going to die one way or another. Getting close to it and spitting in its face is what I love. At the same time, it's a release from all the pain and suffering, so I love it for that reason. An unfortunate typographical error was made on my part. Of course one does not require emotion in order to want to live. One also does not require emotion in order to make sound decisions. In fact, emotions do not rely on objective facts and are more prone to error than logic.
