I haven't found a good way to reduce noise when i ultimately dump them into the toilet. Although i've been considering just dumping them out my window...do you think it would hurt the plants and cause people to notice?

i store it on my desk, and when it gets full I tip it out the window into the bushes below

i piss in cans or liquor bottles, just pour them in the sink and spray some cleaner(hell, pee is sanitary) and i just leave them in my trash can till they're full. no ones ever asked me what they are but i've joked about having them with people. i don't care, my bathroom is down stairs and across the hall. my friends say they'd do the same if it was as far as mine.

Before I moved from my Mom's for the last time. Her house was in process of foreclosure, she took off to live with her new POS boyfriend, I was essentially squatting there for better part of 2 years. Germany living fag here, so I have plenty of 0,5L beer bottles in my room. Perfect bottles to piss in, great noise reduction. The thicker the glass the less noise.

I casually walk to the kitchen every morning and empty my "leftover beer" in the sink, careless of the housemates.

7/10 imo

only drawback is that its hard to judge the volume, so I overfill it quite often

For all I know they're the same in most western countries. But it's made of softer plastic than most water-bottles, and the straight shape helps too. No noise when bending, no noise when filling.

But I second the man up there that said Gatorade bottles.
Any bottle with large top is best actually. Much less spillage. But I tend to find those more noisy. Also same problem, walk of shame to the toilets at some point hoping you don't meet anyone

Use a half or quarter full 2 liter of a dark pop to mask the yellow. As long as no one opens it they won't be able to tell. That way you can leave them in the open like under your desk without it being obvious. And if you go to dump it out people just think it's pop that went bad.

I live in a small town house that is pretty tiny but has an upstairs floor. Room is on upper level, but the only bathroom is on main level. I end up pissing in bottles all the damn time, especially at night since going up or down the stairs kills my sleepiness. I piss in bottles so I can sleep, essentially. I keep them in a drawer in my night stand. but I am pretty fucking lazy about taking care of them. usually the drawer gets full before I decide to dump them in the toilet and trash the bottles. Honestly I should get in the habit of dumping them in the morning instead of collecting them like a lazy piece of shit. Because the smell gets fucking horrible from the bottles that have been sitting a few weeks or longer.

I have a 14 gallon aquarium I use as a piss bottle. Whenever people ask why the color is off, I tell them it's algae. If they ask why it doesn't have any fish, I'm telling them it's unsafe for fish until I get rid of the algae. Also it doesn't smell, because I put chemicals in it that bind ammonia.
