I can't recommend it only because I'm not sure what type of gameplay experiences you enjoy. I personally prefer patient gaming, world-building, great writing, moral ambiguity, and RPGs. If you like those things, then definitely give it another try.

By the way, by "patient gaming," I mean things like trotting instead of helter-skelter galloping everywhere. Walking and jogging where appropriate instead of running everywhere. Fighting slowly and strategically instead of hack-and-slashing. I also don't worry too much about collectibles, trying instead to roleplay as the character. Give it a shot!

I beat the game blind on my first run. I got the Dark Soul on my like 5th playthrough. Of course I had to look at some of the quests to get expressions and shit though. I do have the dark soul and I still think the game is hard. There's no direction, too many subplots, and you can fuck everything up too easily.

I beat the gameboy version of Chains first. It sucks at first because it's hard to get used to but after you get to like Halloween Town you should have your shit down.

I only play on proud mode. Fucking casual. Birth By Sleep has the hardest secret boss. I've never beaten him. His name is No Name.

I never even got to the secret boss on KH1, but I have gotten my ass kicked by Sephiroth. The worst part of KH1 on proud mode was fighting that damn Fantasia volcano monster. After I beat him and got that leaf bracer the rest of the game was a breeze.

Mgs2 is sooooo fucking underrated. Outstanding game. So incredibly ahead of it's time it's actually at points terrifying. Intuitive map design saved a lot of space and made more room to make the game a lot longer and way fucken cooler. Such an outstanding game.
