The real holocaust was against the German people after WWII. Over 2 million Germans were put in camps after the war. Eisenhower issued an order specifically stating they were not to be fed, even though the US had over 5 million 4000 calorie MRE's on hand. As a result, 1.5 million Germans died from starvation. Read the book Eisenhower's Death Camps.

You can't believe in the holocaust if WWII interests you enough to start reading about it on your own. You'll start to notice some major, glaring inconsistencies after reading a few books and doing your own research.

Camp was overrun by Russians and fleeing Germans partially destroyed the camp so it couldn't be used, same as retreating soldiers destroy any ordinance and weaponry they can't take with them.

Soviets then failed to maintain it and it decayed over the decades.

Not enough room, but they chose deliberate remote areas to build them. The Nazis wanted to keep these prisons hidden as was possible.
