If you like Kate Bush there's sort of a modern equivalent very heavily inspired by her called Niki and the Dove.
They're more '80 focused and have less range but still probably relevant to your taste.

God Hates as all is very driven and consistant throughout. Very dark but not very thrash. Reminds me of early machine head mixed with slayer. Not enough great songs however. Arguably my least favorite for being so simple and not being very memorable.

I'd give it an 8/10 as it's still real good

Definitely. Yeah, I thought it was an interesting sound for Slayer. I've heard a lot of newer metal bands with a hardcore punk sound, but it was kinda strange for Slayer to do that.
